Friday 15th May
An afternoon that I planned myself after watching the Building Learning Power video.
A video of a science experiment we have done at home. We are interested in volcanos so together we made a papier mache volcano model, painted it and then added vinegar, bicarb and food colouring to make it erupt.
I drew a Peppa pig picture for my Gamma, I found a K when out for a walk and I have done lots of drawing.

Tuesday 12th May
Dear Miss Hammill, I just wanted to say thank you for your stories from the website. I love to listen to them on a Monday night. I've done some of the suggested home learning and really enjoyed the bugs bits (the woodlouse is a favourite ). I couldn't find an earwig but managed the rest in the mini beast hunt.
Today we learnt about plants and flowers, naming their parts and how seed dispersal works for different types of plants and flowers. Then we’ve gone on our mini beast & plant hunt - digging and foraging also adding anything not on our list and drawing what they are, we’ve found lots not on the list! We are taking home some flowers and plants to look at under our microscope later on.
