Bobby and Betty are based at Goldfield School. They can be booked out to accompany you on special journeys or holidays in the UK (and abroad). Both bears will have a Diary with them so that you can record their adventures with you. If you would like to e-mail any photographs to email@example.com Mrs Rolph will add them to the World Map and Goldfield's Website.
If you would like to take Bobby or Betty away with you please contact Mrs Rolph with the date of your journey so that they can be booked out. Please return the bears with their Diaries as soon as you return as they may be booked out by someone else.

Betty enjoys an Easter break in Valencia, Spain
Betty had a wonderful time visiting Valencia. Her room was on the top floor of the hotel, the views were magnificent. During her stay Betty visited Valencia Football Stadium (where she sat in the manager's chair) and the Oceanografic Sea Centre. Live sharks swam over my head! It was lovely and sunny and I enjoyed relaxing on the sandy beach.

Especially the Punch and Judy Show!

Bobby's Summer Holiday Adventure to Turkey and Clacton
Bobby visits Westward Ho!, Devon
Westward Ho! is a seaside town in Devon. It is the only town in England with an exclamation mark in the title! Wow! The town is also named after a book written over 150 years ago.
Westward Ho! has a pebbly beach with HUGE pebbles.
We went to Appledore. Bobby found a Cuddly Toy Tree.

We took the Cliff Railway between Lynton and Lynmouth – this was built in 1888 and uses water and gravity to get people up and down the steep cliff face.
At the Dartington Glass Factory we watched men making glass vases, jugs etc – they use special pipes to blow super-hot, runny glass into special shapes before they cool down and harden.
In the village of Clovelly we held a Little Owl called Merlin. He is a daytime owl – their eyes are yellow.
In Woolacombe we went on a half hour pony trek.My horse was called Lollipop and my sisters horse was Ginger. The trek was fun though trotting was a bit TOO exciting!
Bobby and Sparkle Bear spend the weekend at Center Parcs Sherwood Forest
Feeding the ducks was fun!
We went swimming with my cousins.
Bobby really enjoyed the bike ride we went on.

Bobby's journey began with lunch in the Giraffe Cafe at the airport before flying to Switzerland.

Betty climbs to the top of the Monument to the Great Fire of London
There are 311 steps to climb to get to the top of the Monument to the Great Fire of London.
Pudding Lane where the fire began has a water fountain with the words to 'Londons Burning' engraved on it.

Betty was very lucky to receive a certificate for climbing the 311 steps of the Monument!

Betty's adventures began with a special 4th Birthday Party in Tring
Betty visits Thomas Land, Drayton Manor Park in Tamworth,Staffordshire.
Betty also visited friends of the family in Malvern, Worcestershire.
Lucky Betty Buttercup went to see Gabon play football against Korea in the Londion 2012 Olympics!
The seats were very high up in Wembly Stadium, Betty was a little nervous.

When the London 2012 Paralympics began Betty watched basketball at the North Greenwich Arena!
Betty's amazing adventures took her to the Olympic Park at Stratford where she enjoyed watching some paralympic athletics (and even bumped into Mrs Prescott! Who would have guessed it.)
Bobby Buttercup goes to Weymouth, Dorset
During this special Olympic Year Bobby was lucky enough to travel to Weymouth, the host for the 2012 Olympic Sailing.
It was amazing because there was a stage with enormous screens on the beach! Even Team GB came to watch the big screens. Bobby really enjoyed watching the sailing whilst playing on the beach.
Bobby went to Portland and saw the lighthouse.
Bobby also visited Tynemham Village, a small village which was taken over by the military during World War II. The residents were never allowed to move back. In each building there is a sign explaining who lived there and what they did.

Bobby enjoys a long weekend in Haven, Poole, Dorset
Bobby made lots of Goldfield friends during his visit to Poole.
He went swimming, played crazy golf, looked for crabs and found lots of shells.
Bobby even tried some speed stacking!
Bobby visits Hunstanton in Norfolk
Bobby enjoyed visiting Hunstanton Beach where he saw a live Star Fish, a Flat Fish and even found a Fossil!
Bobby went to the Sealife Centre. Boddy liked looking at the Jelly Fish and Seahorses.
Sandringham is the Queen's favourite country home. Sandringham has been the country retreat of four generations of British monarchs since 1862 (and Bobby liked visiting it too!)
During his visit to Sandringham Bobby saw the Queen's Taxi and walked around the Queen's beautiful gardens.
Lucky Bobby Buttercup returns to Disneyland Paris!
Bobby went on the under water train, enjoyed the Flower Garden where the flowers are in the shape of Mickey Mouse, had fun on all the rides and watched a spectacular Fireworks Display. Tigger gave Bobby his autograph which you can see in his diary!

During his visit to Somerset Bobby enjoyed an outing to the circus and learnt how to make paper. In Lyme Regis he sat on a cannon, saw a pirate ship and went horse riding!

Betty enjoys Easter in Italy
During her stay in Italy Betty enjoyed cycling around the huge wall surrounding Lucca, and eating delicious pasta. On a trip to Florence Betty saw some amazing buildings and scultures, Ponte Vecchio (a famous bridge) and the Duomo, a huge and beautiful cathedral.
