Today in this slime workshop we are going to see an amazing chemical reaction. We are going to see liquid turn into solid right before out eyes!
For this experiment to work you will need to be able to stir...
...yes, I can see that you are all very good at that
The first chemical to go into your pot is liquid PVA mixed with water
Once you have your pot remember to keep stirring the liquid
Next we add some colour, choose from yellow or green
Can you see the colour is just in the middle of the pot, keep stirring to mix it into the liquid
Next we add the chemical that will turn the liquid into a solid...
...Sodium Borate, as long as you keep stirring the liquid will turn into a solid
When you get home you will be able to take your slime out of the pot and stretch it and role it
Keep your slime in the fridge and as long as it does not get wet or dirty it will keep for over a year
Finally hold onto the lid and have a jolly good jump to see if you can make your slime form into a ball at the bottom of your pot
Mad Science we have had a wonderful time making our own slime, it was awesome!
