BLP Art Challenges
Every few weeks the children will be introduced to a new piece of art in assembly. They will learn about the artist who created the piece and explore the inspirations and meanings behind it. The children have then been challenged to create their own works of art that are inspired by our focus piece. We are not looking for copies.
This team challenge is aimed at encouraging children to explore different mediums of Art at home and to allow for creative freedom. Children can bring their entries into school and place them into their team containers in the hall (please ensure these are named).
We are looking for real creative thinking. The children may want to create models or sculptures and take photos of them, create pieces of art using technology, paint, draw, collage, sew…it is completely open to their own interpretation.
